The smallest cottage on the Gelli Newydd estate — twenty-two acres of former hill farm, with walks straight from the door and the village (with two pubs) a short walk down the valley.
A converted water-mill, with the original waterwheel still in place on the gable wall. Inside is a single open room: superking bed on Egyptian-cotton linen, sofa and Smart TV in front of a new fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, folding dining table for two. Underfloor heating throughout. A shower room with a wall-hung WC and an electric towel radiator.
Out the back, up the narrow stone steps alongside the wheel, a private sun-trap of a terrace. Seating for two, a charcoal BBQ, and a view up to the fields where the sheep graze. The steps are steep and not for everyone — but the reward at the top is the cottage at its best, especially at sunset.
The cottage to choose when it's just the two of you (and the dog) — a quiet weekend, a walking trip, a working escape. Also a useful overflow room for a larger group taking the Farmhouse or the Barn.

Hill paths and lakeside trails start a few feet from the cottage. The village (with two pubs) is a short walk down the valley.
