No. 01 · The Farmhouse
The original hill-farm house, three years in the making. Sage-green door, inglenook fireplace, hotel-quality master with sage panelling, and a freestanding bath that looks straight out to the mountains. The flagship.
No. 02 · The Barn
Original stone walls, the old hayloft door painted post-box red, and double-height living under exposed oak trusses. Tartan curtains, mustard wools and a log burner at the heart of it.
No. 03 · The Bothy
Formerly a log barn, now a single-storey bothy for two. Wood-burner, glass doors onto the field, sheep for neighbours and the longest view down the valley. Made for slow mornings.
No. 04 · The Wheelhouse
The owners' own bolthole for years — a converted watermill, the wheel still in place. Open-plan living and sleeping, Superking bed, underfloor heating throughout, and a fireplace for slow evenings. Small, but perfectly formed.
Martin and Lisa ran an award-winning bathroom business for fifteen years before finding Gelli Newydd at auction in 2018. A working hill farm. Views that stopped them in their tracks.
After almost three years of planning, design and build — every detail checked twice, because that's how they always worked — they opened the cottages and have been sharing them with guests ever since. The name means new grove in Welsh.
